Why You'll Love
Maximum Health Massage Therapy Calgary

Our Story
Maximum Health Massage Therapy Calgary has been part of the West Hillhurst community at 213 19 St NW #4, Calgary, AB T2N 2H9 since 1998. In 2003, our owner, Tracy Schneider-Steeves, took a leap of faith and purchased the clinic from its previous owner.
At the time, Tracy was working in a large corporate clinic where care was fast-paced and appointments felt transactional. She knew something was missing. Her patients needed more than quick treatments — they needed time, attention, and genuine connection. When the opportunity to purchase Maximum Health came up, she recognized it immediately as the chance to create the kind of clinic she had always envisioned: one where people felt seen, listened to, and supported, and where care was never rushed.
Tracy began with just two treatment rooms and a clear intention: to build something personal, sustainable, and grounded in real relationships. Over time, as trust grew and the clinic’s reputation spread through word of mouth, demand naturally followed. When the opportunity arose to expand into the neighbouring space—then a small yoga studio—it coincided with a particularly full season of life. Tracy was caring for a newborn and a toddler, navigating the realities of early motherhood while running the clinic. Even then, she chose to say yes—trusting the long-term vision she had built and allowing the clinic to grow alongside her family. That same intentional, people-first approach continues to shape Maximum Health today.
Our Philosophy
At Maximum Health Massage Therapy Calgary, we believe that feeling better starts with feeling heard, believed, and supported. Every body tells a story, and our first priority is to listen—without rushing, dismissing, or making assumptions. Pain, discomfort, stress, and limitation are never treated as “just part of life.” Instead, we meet each client where they are, recognizing that the nervous system, lifestyle, movement habits, and lived experience all play a role in how the body responds. Our work is rooted in collaboration: we don’t dictate care, we build a plan with you—one that restores a sense of control, confidence, and trust in your body again.
We also believe that lasting change happens beyond the treatment room. The therapies we offer are powerful tools, but it works best when paired with education, awareness, and realistic home care that fits real life. Our approach focuses on helping the body adapt, become more resilient, and stay capable of doing the things that make you feel like yourself—whether that’s returning to sport, parenting without pain, managing stress, or simply moving through your day with more ease. We value consistency over perfection, progress over quick fixes, and a long-term view of health that supports where you want to be not just now, but years from now.
