Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to health care through gentle and hands-on techniques. It is based
on a profound knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and pathophysiology.
The aim of an O.M.T (osteopathic manual therapist) is to restore the normal function by working on
all types of the tension within your body’s structure.
In an easier way, we can think of him like an investigator searching for the origins of functional
disorders, considering body and mind as a whole.
Osteopathy can be above all a preventive discipline for anyone at any ages.
Some examples of when osteopathy can be helpful:
- Low back, neck and sciatic pain
- TMJ pain
- Headaches
- Shoulder, elbow, and wrist pain
- Hip, knee, ankle and foot pain
- Digestive issues (heartburn, nausea, constipation, diarrhea…)

- Sports injuries
- Pregnancy related issues
- Post-surgery pain

Osteopathy is often covered by your extended health care plan
